This is a great opportunity for all Chemical Engineering students to be exposed to a wide variety of inspiring career paths that they can pursue upon graduation. Speakers from different industries will be sharing their experience with you. Networking opportunities are available.
Cameron Griffith, Commercial Developer, GE Water and Process Technologies. He began at GE 6 years ago and has held positions as Account Manager, District Representative & Commercial Leader in both the Chemical Management Services and Equipment Solutions businesses. Cameron has experience in both technical and commercial roles and now works on projects and contract management.
Georgie Wright, Refinery Scheduler within the Refinery Coordination group at ExxonMobil Altona Refinery. Georgie has worked as a process engineer at the Refinery for the past 4 years in various roles, and was part of the Graduate Recruiting Team from 2008-2010.
Maryam Rezaei, PhD student in the School of Civil, Enviro and Chemical Engineering at RMIT University.
Manjula Antony, Manager, Brown Coal Technologies, Energy Technology Innovation, Department of Primary Industries¬- Responsible for the development and implementation of brown coal R&D and early stage demonstration (pilot) projects.
Paul Murphy, Corporate Services, Planner, WorleyParsons. Paul has worked on Esso Longford projects, Orica Yarwun projects, as production engineer for the Minerva Gas Plant where he was seconded to BHPB, Patricia Baleen FEED and detailed design for Santos in a process engineering capacity.
